The Home Depot Consumer App

This product is the primary customer facing app for The Home Depot.  I was the lead UX Architect for both iOS and Android, and was responsible for all changes and updates made during the course of my employment.

Sprint 1403 Deliverable

This is an example of a UX deliverable for a single sprint.  This sprint covered enhancements to the Product List Page, and an updated Store Details Page that provided a tailored In-Store experience based on geofencing.

In addition to interactive prototypes, a competitive landscape exercise was completed to inform requirements around what information should display on the PLP.

The annotation numbering system references specific JIRA tickets, so that developers can easily identify the information associated with their current task.

tripFiles

tripFiles is a travel focused social media app that allows users to share travel memories and recommendations with an audience of their choosing.

As the user experience architect for the tripFiles team, I was responsible for user experience requirements and strategy, UX architecture, prototyping, and user testing.

Axure Prototype

This is a very large axure file.  As a result, load times can be long.  The desktop viewer allows you to easily navigate the interactive prototype without annotations.  This view is very useful for presenting concepts in meetings.  The annotated wireframes provide additional context and detail for someone reviewing the prototype independently.

User Testing

Throughout the course of this project, we conducted several rounds of user testing. I was responsible for choosing the testing platform (we used usertesting.com), identifying test goals, drafting test plans, and analyzing results.

CatchSports

catch_sportsCatchSports is an iOS app that allows users to follow their favorite sports teams and series, and stay informed about all of the ways to watch and listen to games.  This MVP was designed, developed and released to the app store in under three months. We continue to iterate on this, and have several releases planned over the next year.

In order to provide accurate network and channel information, we need to collect the user’s location and tv provider. The viewing options user flow was used to help the development team understand when and how we should be collecting this data.

Axure Prototype

To stay within budget and timeline constraints, this unannotated interactive prototype was completed in under a week.  It covers several micro experiences, including a mortgage calculator, a trivia game, and a catalog of credit union services.
